CFAO Mobility Uganda has officially launched the all-new Suzuki ACROSS Hybrid SUV on the Ugandan market.
To mark the launch, the automotive distributor rolled out an unprecedented, limited-time promotional campaign titled "The Upgrade You Deserve," aimed at making brand-new vehicle ownership more affordable in Uganda.
Under this campaign, every customer who purchases any Suzuki model will receive one year of free fuel and one year of free comprehensive insurance.
This is in addition to CFAO Mobility’s standard two years free vehicle service and a three-year manufacturer warranty. The offer runs while stocks last.
According to officials, the entry of the Suzuki ACROSS Hybrid comes at a critical time when vehicle operating costs are soaring.
Powered by a highly efficient 1.5L hybrid engine, the ACROSS directly addresses the financial pain points of all drivers by drastically reducing fuel consumption without compromising on the power, comfort, and spaciousness required by Ugandan families.
The vehicle’s 1.5-liter K15C engine is paired with a 12-volt Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki mild-hybrid system, generating 76 kilowatts of power and 137 newton-meters of torque.
The vehicle is available in both a five-speed manual and a six-speed automatic transmission, the powertrain utilizes regenerative braking and an integrated starter generator to optimize fuel efficiency.
It delivers a manufacturer-claimed fuel consumption rating of 5.3 litres per 100 kilometers, allowing a driving range of up to 900 kilometers on its 45-liter fuel tank.
The vehicle’s cabin features a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment interface compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The premium GLX trim adds a 360-degree camera system, a head-up display, ventilated front seats, and a panoramic sunroof while luggage capacity measures up to 347 litres, accessible via a hands-free power tailgate.
Safety equipment integrated across the range includes six airbags, electronic stability program, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, and autonomous emergency braking.
